Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Brian arrived in Hong Kong in 1995 with a basic grasp of the language and no clear plan. What he found there changed the direction of his life in ways he didn't fully understand until much later.

He went home to Utah, finished his degrees in Chinese Literature and Asian Studies, and came back to Hong Kong for good in 1999. What followed was 25 years of doing something most people told him wasn't possible — building a real career inside the Cantonese-language entertainment industry, not as a novelty act, but as a working actor and MC that audiences recognised and clients called back.

Over 90 film and television credits. Hundreds of corporate events. Three languages. One city that became home.

But the longer he stayed, the more he realised that the real education wasn't happening on set or behind a microphone. It was happening in the gaps — in the moments of being the only foreigner in the room and having to figure out how to belong anyway. In raising a faith in a culture that didn't share it. In learning, slowly, what kind of man he actually wanted to be.

That's what this site is about now. Not the credits — though they're here if you want them. But what 25 years of choosing the harder, less obvious path actually taught him about faith, about language, about manhood, and about what it means to start over. Again.
